Upload dnn4.x skin to a dnn5.x portal

1. Unzip the dnn4.x skin package and you will find containers.zip and skins.zip

2. Rename these two zip files to avoid confusion

Example: Unzip Alldnnskins-10102.zip and you will get containers10102.zip and skins10102.zip

3. Click at Host > Skins to upload containers10102.zip and skins10102.zip

Click to choose a location to save skins10102.zip, then click.

4. Select skin, click

5. ClickNext

6. ClickNext

7. Select Accept License, click

8. Find skin package to be exported at Host > Skins, click edit.

9. Select Create Package

10.Click Next

11. Rename the packages if needed (the text in the red frame in the graphics followed)

Example: You need to rename it to Alldnnskins-10102-Skin if you intend to get Alldnnskins-10102 as the final name of the package.

Please also remember to change the text in the black frame to Alldnnskins-10102.

12. Input in the frame the intended name -Skin5.dnn, Example: Alldnnskins-10102-Skins5.dnn

Input in the frame the name of the package which is to be exported. Make sure the extension is .zip. Example: Alldnnskins-10102-Skins5.zip

Export container likewise.

Note: After you export the skin and container, please go to the website \Portals\_default and upload the exported packages:

Alldnnskins-10102-Skins5.zip

Alldnnskins-10102-Containers5.zip.
