What is 80054 Simple News?

80054 Simple News is AllDNN Skins and Modules' new solution for a social web site. Our purpose is to have a simple single article management module for most functions needed in a social web site. It is a simple version of news, forums, classified, blog, download and more.  In addtion, it allow the site admin to manage all the articles, templates, permissions, approval in a central place in stead of module by module.

Use as News

When it is use as a News module, it allow site admin or authorized person to post News, including picture. It also has a view count. Optionally you can allow anonymous or DNN user to post community news. For security or verification purpose, you can add option like captcha, Email verification or admin approval.

Use as Forums

When it is use as a Forum module, it allow DNN user to post anything that topic(category) related articles. Other users can post reply (comments). The last replied message will be on top of the message list. Again, you can require verifications or captcha.

Use as Classified

When it is use as a Classifieds module. It allow you to create different posting templates to match the style of the classified. For exmple you can add selection of Car maker, Milleges, Price etc for an used car classified. Or you can add How many bedrooms, baths, sqs, year of build etc for a real estate classified.

Use as Directory Listing

When it is use as a directory listing module. It allow business to add their business and contact information as a list. You can allow site users to create review etc. Combine with our 80015 Combo Login module, you can control which paid role can publish etc.

Use as Blog

When it is use as a blog module, all Bloger are listed in a page. When the Bloger's Name is clicked, you will see only the articles from that bloger.

By default, the blog pages shows the latest articles from all bloger.

Intergration with 90003 Virtual Money

The new 3.0 version will support virtual money. Means a post can earn virtual money or cost virtual money. 90003 Virtual money is still in beta version. If you want test it with our News module, we can send you the beta for free.
